Butts on Seats is refereed to as the seller.

Product images may not be the exact colour; these images are to give you an idea of what the product looks like.

All items on this site are sold unassembled unless stipulated in the description. There are assembly instructions and tools in each box, if you are having any troubles while assembling your items please feel free to contact us and we will be more than happy to help.

Please note that we order directly from our suppliers and we do not keep back up stock in our showroom. This means that if you would like to pick up in store please call us on (07) 3281 1528. Our friendly staff will arrange to get your product delivered to our North Ipswich showroom, we require a 20% deposit or a a payment in full before we will order any products. Products, if in stock, can take between 5 and 21 business days to arrive in our North Ipswich Showroom. Once the product has arrived in store we will contact you to arrange a pick you time that is convenient to you.

Some products that are shown on our website may not be on display in our North Ipswich showroom. If you wish to try a product before you buy we would recommend contacting us to see if we have the product in store.

We try to keep product quantities up to date but please note that our suppliers do not just sell to us, so they may have sold out of a product after we have received a stock sheet. If this does occur there may be a waiting period before the product is back in stock, this is out of our hands and we will try our hardest to provide you with your order as soon as possible.

If you are looking at ordering a large quantity of items please contact us so that we can discuss whether the product is in stock, if it is not in stock, when it will be back in stock, or if we need to do an indent order (please not indent orders can take 6-12 weeks to arrive in Australia).

Products will not be ordered without a 30% deposit, there is a 30%, of the order total, restocking fee on all items if orders are cancelled and stock has been received.

Please keep your invoice as there is a 12 month warranty on furniture. You must contact us as soon as warranty issues appear, within 7 days, any extra damage done due to lack of action is not a warranty issue.

All items must be delivered to a street or work address, where someone will be there to sign for goods, if no-one is there further delivery fees may be charged, unless you can pick up from the carriers depot direct (if the carrier allows this). We will use authorized to leave delivery on some orders depending on item delivery location. If you would prefer that we did not use ATL extra delivery charges may apply.

It is the customer's responsibility to pay freight on warranty claims unless the item is D.O.A. We do not offer refunds unless the item is D.O.A. Photo's and video evidence of D.O.A product must be sent through to use within 24 hours of the items were delivered. Depending on the warranty issue items will be repaired not replaced.

PVC/ PU/ VINYL MUST BE CLEANED REGULARLY WITH A SOFT CLOTH AND MILD SOAPY WATER OR ARCO CLEANER (DO NOT USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS LIKE JIFF / GUMPTION OR NON NATURAL SPRAY AND WIPES, THESE PRODUCTS WILL DAMAGE THE UPHOLSTERY).

Please keep indoor products out of direct sunlight it will age all materials and change the colour permanently.

We recommend fabric protectors to be used on fabric products to make it easier to clean and a regular vacuum; this will prolong the life span of the fabrics by removing grime and harmful perspiration and also body oils.

Leather must be cleaned regularly and protected with a leather care product only. This is to prevent it from drying out.

Chrome and stainless steel products may rust due to moisture in the air, regularly wipe any dust or food off of the metal and coat the metal with a product that will protect it from moisture we recommend INOX or car polish.

Please contact us on (07) 32811528 if you have any questions about returns, we will try our hardest to help where we can. Please note we do not offer refunds if you simply change your mind e.g. wrong colour or size. We do offer a 24 hour loan service as well as online stool selector options which allows you to see the product in your home before you commit to buying. We understand that even with these services that it can sometimes be difficult to know if a product will work for you and your family so we do offer, at our discression, an option to swap a product, this is only for items that are of equal value (please note that if you decide to go with a product that is of higher value you will have to pay the difference). There is a 30% restocking fee for all items swapped over, this is due to the fact that our suppliers will not let us turn a product, so all items that are returned to us will be put into storage until we are able to sell it on (please note that once the product is returned to us it is no longer a new product and we are unable to sell this product for the same price). It is the customer's resposibility to pay freight on all products returned as well as freight for the swapped product to your choosen address.

Warranty claims are to be made immediately when a fault is apparent, within 7days, any further damage caused by a lack of action on purchaser’s part is not a warranty claim. 12 month warranty only applies to manufacturing faults not wear and tear. Domestic products are not covered if used for commercial use. RUSTING OR LACK OF MAINTENANCE IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the product purchased is to be used and maintained correctly. Where there are screws they will need to be regularly tightened. Standing on, swinging back on or sitting on the back or arms of the product may result in injury or damage; damage caused by misuse is not a warranty claim. Staining or damage caused by stools hitting or jamming under benches, clothing dyes and studs are not covered by warranty.

SAFETY WARNING: PLEASE KEEP PLASTIC BAGS AND PACKAGING AWAY FROM BABIES AND CHILDREN – DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO USE FURNITURE UNSUPERVISED.

Marks on carpet, tiles, timber or any other flooring may occur due to dragging of products or the wearing out of the product tips on chairs, stools, table legs and feet / disc on items. It is the responsibility of the user to lift the product when moving it and to replace any worn feet as this is basic maintenance of the product and Butts On Seats take no responsibility for damage caused in this regard.

After wet cleaning ensure that carpets and floors are fully dry before replacing products, this will prolong the life of the feet and prevent staining the floor. Spillage should be wiped up immediately and thoroughly on upholstery and on bases and legs to avoid staining, marking and rusting of product and floors. No responsibility for staining or rusting as a result of lack of maintenance and care. No discussion will be entered into by Butts On Seats in this regard. Butts On Seats accepts no responsibility to damages to a purchase's home or vehicle when buying, transporting or using products.

Please note that over time product prices may change due to suppliers prices. We will do our best to give you the best price we can. Some manufactures will change seat height, colour etc in different batches please be aware that if products are bought at different times they may vary.

Stocked items will, normally, be sent within 3-4 days of a cleared payment. Our delivery company requires your best available contact number so that they are able to contact you if something goes wrong, it is your responsibility to provide a phone number and if you do not provide a phone number the time frame in which we get your order out to you can be delayed until we have received one. An estimated arrival time will be provided, where possible,  please understand that items may take longer to reach you if your order is being sent to a rural address. Please also note that once the goods have left our store we have no control over delivery times however tracking will be supplied where possible. 

Emails will be replied to in order of receipt and during working hours only - Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm, Saturdays 9am-1pm, Sundays and public holidays we are closed.

$10 flat rate shipping does not apply to commercial and assembled items. Please refer to our shipping page for more information on our flat rate shipping.

If a refund is issued through paypal please note that there are paypal fees that apply.

All weight ratings on our website are Safe Working Load (SWL). This means that the weight rating only applies when the product is used on all 4 legs, if the product is used incorrectly the amount of weight that the product can hold will vary. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the product is used correctly, if the product gets damaged or broken due to the product not being used correctly your warranty may be void.

Promotional offers do not apply to commercial sales.

Any feedback that has been given to us from our customers (including but not limited to emails, messages, photos e.t.c) may be added onto our testimonial section of our website, please contact us as soon as possible if this does not suit you.

At our sole and absolute discretion as the seller we may accept or reject any offer made by you, the customer, for any reason or even no reason. This may include an error in the advertised price of, the description of the products on this website or an error in your order.

24 hour try before you buy service terms

You must provide 'Butts On Seats' with a credit card, name, phone number and signature before items will be released. This is a 24 hour try before you buy service and by signing you acknowledge that during the 24 hours the item/s is your responsibility and any damage or non return in this time frame will result in the item/s full purchase price being processed onto your credit card that you provided. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to return the items with in 24 hour and failure to return the items with in the 24 hours will result in us processing a payment for the full purchase price to the credit card that you provided.

      Any advice,information, recommendation, help or service provided by Butts on Seats in relation to Goods and Services supplied is given in good faith, is based on Butts on Seat’s own knowledge, experience and information provided to us at that time and shall be accepted without liability on the part of Butts on Seats and it shall be the responsibility of the Customer to confirm the accuracy and reliability of the same in light of the use to which the Customer makes or intends to make of the Goods or Services.

Errors and Omissions

1.1        The Customer acknowledges and accepts that Butts on seats shall, without prejudice, accept no liability in respect of any alleged or actual error(s) and / or omission(s):

  • resulting from an inadvertent mistake made by Butts on seats in the formation and / or administration of this contract; and / or

  • contained in / omitted from any literature (hard copy and/or electronic) supplied by Butts on seats in respect of the Services.

1.2        In the event such an error and / or omission occurs in accordance with the above clause, and is not attributable to the negligence and / or wilful misconduct of Butts on seats ; the Customer shall not be entitled to treat this contract as repudiated nor render it invalid.
